There is one stretch that always stands out to me when compared to other stretches. It’s the World’s Greatest Stretch. Really, that’s what it’s called. The reason I love it so much is because it stretches multiple muscles at the same time. You’re able to stretch your hamstrings, glutes, hip flexors, and calves all in one great stretch.

Being able to get so many important muscles saves time and lets you get more done in your workout. It’s also great because you can do it almost anywhere without the need of equipment.

When most people start active care they are unable to perform this stretch. One of our goals for everyone is to progress to the stretch. If you can’t reach the ground for the second half of the stretch, use a foam roller as a support aid while you are extending your front leg.

Here’s a great video from Core Performance on how to perform a perfect World’s Greatest Stretch.
